I would like to nominate Mrs. Menefee as the teacher of the week. Mrs. Menefee is so deserving of this honor. She is very in tune with the needs and abilities of her students. She has been a kindergarten teacher at Hudson for many years and this year decided to make the move to first grade, and my daughter was lucky enough to get Mrs. Menefee as her teacher. She called our house one evening to check on my husband after he had surgery, and another time to tell us that our daughter's reading score had doubled! She clearly cares about "her kids" in and out of the classroom. She makes learning fun and my daughter really enjoys school because of her. Please consider Mrs. Menefee as your teacher of the week!
