I wanted to nominate Mrs. Heerts, music teacher at Kingsley Elementary School in Waterloo for the teach of the week. She has an amazing enthusiasm for teaching music. Th performances she puts together from kindergarten to fifth grade are extremely well done with the kids feeling stressed.

Couple of week ago the thris graders had their Museum School at the Grout. They had a night at the museum where they sang songs and showed parents what they had learned.

The Museum complimented the classes on their singing and prepartion for the music portion. They said they had never seen such smooth and well-done presentation. The third grade teachers attributed it to how well Mrs. Heerts had prepared them.
